Dresden Star Ornaments are made with Antique and Vintage Materials
When you click on "Buy From Us – Ornaments" tab, you'll see that Dresden Star Ornaments do not look like new ornaments. They are handcrafted from vintage and antique materials and are created that way on purpose to look intentionally imperfect, like original old ornaments. You will see imperfections in patina and quality of materials, which we believe adds charm and character. The patina and condition of materials varies with each and every ornament. With this in mind, we provide large pictures of the front and back of each ornament on our on-line catalog, so you can accurately see all the details to make an informed buying decision!
Antique and Vintage Holiday Decorations are in "As-Found" Condition
When you click on "Buy From Us – Accessories" tab, you'll see that we also offer vintage and antique accessories for Christmas, Easter and Halloween. These fabulous collectibles are presented to you in their as-found condition. Like Dresden Star Ornaments, you will see imperfections in patina and quality of materials, which we believe adds charm and character. If we replaced missing parts, we provide these details in the description by the item. Remember when you buy collectibles 70 to 100 years old, imperfections, patina, and signs of wear all come "with the territory". We provide great thumbnail and full-size photos of each item to aid you in your buying decision, so PLEASE look carefully at all the pictures before you buy!

Our catalog is our website; we make one-of-a-kind, handmade ornaments and also offer a variety of holiday accessories that are always changing as we list new items. That means that ordering on-line is the best way to buy our products. You can imagine the confusion (and frustration) that could result if we mailed you a catalog of ornaments and products that were no longer available by the time the catalog reached you!
Simply click on the BUY FROM US sections of our web site, and you will reach our on-line catalog. You will be able to browse through categories, and view thumbnails, descriptions, and big pictures of all available items for sale. If you are uncomfortable ordering on-line for any reason, call us at (707) 215-9510 and we will be happy to take your order over the phone. Have the item # and description of the item handy!
Secure On-line Shopping
When you place your order with us online, you can be assured that we use the some of the best encryption technology available today through secure servers at Authorize.net. Your personal information cannot be read as it travels over the internet.
Payment
All payments in U.S. dollars can be made via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Checks or money orders mailed to us cannot be accepted because of the nature of our business; by the time the check reaches us, the ornament may already be sold.
Your Order Will Be Confirmed
Please note that you'll receive an e-mail confirmation immediately after you place your order. If you requested any special shipping options, we will contact you with additional shipping costs before sending your ornament to you.
Shipping for Customers in the Continental U.S.
We will ship within 48 hours (not including weekends and holidays), upon receipt of your order. Your package will ship via Federal Express ground and will be automatically insured. Additional charges may apply for all shipments sent via any method other than Fed Ex Ground. These additional charges apply to all Fed Ex Overnight and 2nd Day Express shipments. We will contact you prior to shipment to advise you of any extra charges.
If you use a P.O. Box for your shipping address, we will be sending your product via U.S. mail. Please note that since there is no way to track U.S. mail (except U.S. Express Mail), we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages.
Shipping for Customers in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Overseas
After we receive your order we will notify you via E-mail with additional shipping rates before sending your ornament to you.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will gladly accept returns. You'll need to contact us within 5 days of receipt of delivery in order to return an item. Call 707-215-9510 or e-mail info@dresdenstar.com to receive an authorization number. A 15% restocking fee applies. The item must be returned in its original box in re-saleable condition. YOU MUST OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER BEFORE RETURNING AN ITEM. Return shipment costs are non-refundable.
California Sales Tax
Any order shipped within California is subject to California sales tax, unless you are a reseller and can provide us with your resale number. You must provide this number to us prior to placing your order.
