This bespectacled Granny cat can’t wait to take these darling grandbabies home to give exhausted mamma a rest for a few days! The story begins with a WONDERFUL character scrap Diana gave to us to do our magic with. Gail found basket of kittens (hand-cut from an antique postcard), and rimmed the basket with vintage velvet silk flowers and Dresden papers. Floppy Victorian hat sports vintage feathers, antique fabric cording and fabulous antique blue ombre ribbon flower. Grandma’s skirt is detailed with more beautiful antique ribbon trim and Dresden paper. Lanky, fluffy legs are made with antique cotton batting just to the right scale for this cuddly grandma. Arms are decorated with antique buttercream-yellow silk ribbon and antique lace; hind legs are dressed in antique silk pantaloons rimmed with more exquisite lace. HANDMADE AND SIGNED BY GAIL GIAIMO
