SPECIAL FEATURES
This fabulous candy container bell ornament is one of the most spectacular Americana paper creations we've made to date! Our inspiration for this incredible piece was an awesome antique postcard with three superb patriotic turkeys wearing Uncle Sam hats and waving 48 state flags. After meticulously cutting out this lovely lithograph and backing it to reinforced cardboard, we selected a circa 1930s old store-stock Japanese molded cardboard bell to showcase our turkeys. We applied a rich assortment of vintage and antique papers to accent and complement all the amazing Stars and Stripes on the turkeys. We are particularly fond of the Victorian practice of storing treats in candy containers, and couldn't resist adding a special two-part bottom so that treats can be hidden for children (or childlike adults) to discover on Christmas Day!
