Candy Containers

catcandycon.jpgMost all of our one-of-a-kind ornaments sell right away, so the elves have left some Candy Container Creations here for you to browse. Click Here  for all Ornaments currently for sale. We have a special fondness for candy containers.  Candy containers of all shapes and sizes were hung on trees by middle-class Victorian families and little treats were tucked inside of them on Christmas Eve for children to find in the morning. Some were home-made by the families themselves; many were made in Germany and later in Japan and America by cleverly incorporating their designs onto paper cones,  chocolate boxes, match boxes and other molded cardboard three-dimensional shapes like the foil egg shown here.

Use for decorative display only (please don't place candy or other items inside these candy containers).

Each ornament is designed with antique and early vintage materials from scratch as a brand new creation, and is hand-signed by artists Gail or Glenn Giaimo.
